Current Practice

Stacey Crichton is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado with four years of experience in private practice. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and has specialized training in multimodal ADHD treatment and adult trauma, including complex PTSD.

Stacey has a special passion for working with children and adolescents. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where young clients can learn coping skills, express their feelings, and work through challenges they may be experiencing at school, home, or in their relationships. Her background as a teacher has greatly shaped her therapeutic work, enhancing her ability to connect with children and support their emotional development.

Stacey approaches therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each client’s autonomy. She believes that every client’s experiences are unique and works collaboratively with individuals to build treatment plans that reflect their goals, culture, and personal experiences. Her work is grounded in creating a non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Having grown up moving frequently after immigrating to the United States at a young age, Stacey brings a deep understanding of cultural differences, life transitions, and the importance of meeting clients where they are. These experiences, along with her role as a mother, have strengthened her empathy and commitment to supporting people from diverse backgrounds.

Stacey is committed to providing inclusive, affirming care. She strives to create a welcoming environment for clients of all identities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and neurodivergent clients, and works to ensure that therapy honors each person’s strengths and lived experience.

Outside of her clinical work, Stacey enjoys gardening, listening to music, reading nonfiction, and watching basketball and soccer. A fun fact about Stacey is that part of her childhood was spent living in the jungle, an experience that shaped her adventurous and resilient outlook on life.
