Current Practice
Hannah is in her graduate program at Colorado Christian University currently, anticipating graduation in May of 2024. She has experience working with children on the autism spectrum using behavioral therapy to improve their communication skills and repertoire. She is open to working with a variety of populations because she believes that everyone deserves worthwhile healing and wholeness. She believes that the therapeutic relationship must have a basis of respect, caring, and collaboration towards progress. She offers in-person sessions as well as teletherapy. Her perspective towards therapy includes a systems-emphasis, meaning that she strives to see the individual as a whole person, comprised of interactions between many systems (like family, friends, community, etc.) that influence a person's background, and current state, and so on. Some interventions that she also uses are mindfulness-based interventions, motivational interviewing, and so on. Hannah would be considered a generalist practitioner in that she works with a variety of different client concerns and is honing in on her specializations through supervised practice.
