Hannah Reasy, LPCC

Pronouns - She/her/hers

Hannah specializes in working with a variety of different clients, including individual adults, couples, families, children ages 3+, teens, all people of all backgrounds without discrimination. She utilizes several modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, motivational interviewing, as well as systems theory, which helps with depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, etc. Hannah typically uses cognitive-behavioral approaches (CBT) to pinpoint a person's daily experience; bring out the truth in those experiences; and collaborate with the client to highlight a new way of thinking and behaving. Empowering the client to assume responsibility for the things that are in their control and let go of the things that are not in their control is part of that process. Another treatment approach she uses is emotional-focused therapy (EFT) to dig into the crux of human experience: emotional connections, with the self and others.

Current Practice

Hannah wants to meet you in your struggles. Each and every person, couple, and family deserves to live a more fulfilling and healthy life. Hannah is committed to collaborating with you towards your growth and best interest, and clients that she has worked with find that she is focused on ensuring they are getting what they want out of this process. With this in mind, she believes that the therapeutic relationship must have a basis of respect, receptivity, and caring collaboration towards progress.

Her perspective towards therapy includes a systems-emphasis, meaning that she strives to see the individual as a whole person, composed of interactions between many systems (like family, friends, community, etc.) These systems can then influence a person's background, current state, and so on.

Some interventions she also uses are cognitive-behavioral interventions, emotional-focused interventions, mindfulness-based interventions, motivational interviewing, and so on. She also has a background in spiritual exploration and integrating Christian values in counseling or, overall, integrating the aspect of spirituality into sessions in general, if the client is interested in that.

When Hannah is not collaborating with clients or at the office she enjoys camping, being in awe of God's creation, eating good food, and spending time with loved ones. She is eager to get to know you and your story more!

Hannah has recently completed her graduate program at Colorado Christian University and has obtained her LPCC (Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate). She has experience working with children on the autism spectrum using behavioral therapy to improve their communication skills and repertoire.

She is Pre-licensed Therapist (Master Level Intern) supervised by Kacy Behrend, LPC #0013833, LAC# 0000857.
