Giovanna Lopez specializes in working with a diverse range of clients, including individual adults, couples, families, children, LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC, Spanish speakers, and Latinx communities. Giovanna Lopez believes that, whether someone is struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, or other challenges, there is always hope for a brighter future. She works collaboratively with her clients to explore different aspects of themselves, helping them move toward their desired goals. Her approach is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a strong commitment to guiding clients toward meaningful, lasting change.

Giovanna's therapeutic interests include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), existential therapy, psychoanalytic therapy, and grief counseling. She works with clients from diverse backgrounds and understands the importance of honoring and understanding varied cultural identities, experiences, and histories. Giovanna tailors her therapeutic methods to best meet each client’s unique treatment needs. With extensive experience working with adolescents, she recognizes the importance of mental health at every stage of life. Her primary goal is to create a safe, collaborative environment where clients feel supported on their journey to well-being.

In her spare time, Giovanna enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, visiting parks, and swimming. She also loves spending time with friends, reading, and watching movies.

Giovanna Lopez is a Master's in Counseling intern from Colorado Christian University. She is supervised by HollyAnne Giffin, LCSW, LAC. Giovanna offers both telehealth and in-person sessions for her clients in Aurora, CO.
