Allison is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC). She is dedicated to supporting clients by providing therapeutic space to explore their concerns and identify skills and strategies for moving forward. Inspiring and empowering others has been a consistent drive in Allison's life, defining both her professional pursuits and personal motivations. With clients, Allison focuses on understanding behaviors and thought patterns and provides space for clients to explore strategies and skills for their mental health. Allison is dedicated to collaborating with clients to provide holistic care, leaning on specific techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based therapy, as well as creative and person-specific strategies. Allison is considered a generalist practitioner in that she works with a variety of different client concerns and is honing in on her specializations through supervised practice and pursuing additional certifications, including EMDR.
