Current Practice

Allison recognizes that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable and courageous—especially when navigating life’s complexities while holding neurodivergent or LGBTQIA+ identities. She values the therapeutic space as a collaborative, affirming environment where clients are honored as the experts of their own lives. Her goal is to create a safe and empowering experience for each individual she works with.

Allison specializes in working with neurodivergent clients and those experiencing anxiety and depression. As someone who is neurodivergent herself, she brings both lived experience and a commitment to continued learning to help others better understand themselves, build self-awareness, and identify ways to meet their needs more fully. Her approach is informed by person-centered, strengths-based, and psychodynamic frameworks, and is rooted in social work values of authenticity, equity, and systemic awareness.

She has over two years of experience working in community mental health, as well as a background in juvenile justice and social services. Allison holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Science in Criminology from Florida State University, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Florida. She is currently licensed as an LSW in Colorado and offers therapy via telehealth.

Outside of clinical work, Allison enjoys reading, listening to music, and engaging in her own spiritual practices. She believes these interests can support the therapeutic process and may incorporate them—with consent—to enhance healing, reflection, and connection.
