Current Practice

Kellen practices from a perspective that emphasizes acceptance and increasing one's behavioral repertoire. He completed his Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in Morehead, KY. Following this, he worked in a rural community mental health setting for over a year before determining that he wanted to learn more, leading him to become a PsyD student at University of Denver.

While he enjoys working with most teens and adults, Kellen's expertise is in the area of anxiety and obsessive thinking

His approach to behavioral therapy blends the language and case conceptualization of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with interventions from Exposure and Response Prevention.

Kellen is currently being supervised by Annie Ren, PsyD, PSY #5580.
