Current Practice

“When it becomes too hard to do anything else, just breathe.”

This is a saying that Cheyenne lives by, as she believes that life is a constant journey with ups and downs. She works from a person-centered approach, with positive regard for the client and a genuine and empathic attitude. She encourages clients to use those strengths to live their best life and will help guide clients towards a healthier life. By maintaining a safe, inviting environment, Cheyenne wishes to nurture a trusting therapeutic relationship and to foster a place where clients will be able to be vulnerable in working through their concerns. Approaching sessions with biopsychosocial factors in mind and always being aware and accepting of cultural differences and identities, she offers short-term and long-term counseling, accepting clients for morning, mid-day, or evening sessions. In her spare time, Cheyenne enjoys hiking with her partner and spending time with her three pets. She also enjoys crocheting and will have an in-office, handmade blanket at the ready to comfort clients during sessions.

Cheyenne is a Masters in Counseling intern from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is supervised by Kacy Behrend, LPC #0013833, LAC# 0000857.
