Current Practice

A former elementary teacher, Casey has worked with kids and young adults for the past 10 years using a trauma-informed, whole-child, relationships-based approach. Her practice is guided by a wide variety of therapy modalities and is committed to creating an individualized therapy plan for each client based on their specific needs and goals. A self-identified fat person, Casey is also passionate about walking with clients on the path to body acceptance and body love (without the influence of diet culture) using a mind-body approach. Casey strives to create a space free of shame and stigma where she can listen without judgment and partner with clients to explore the many facets of their identities, process trauma, and develop a deep love for the self- exactly as it is. Casey would be considered a generalist practitioner, in that she works with a variety of different client concerns and is honing in on her specializations through supervised practice.
