Current Practice

Skye understands how daunting it can be to begin therapy—especially when past trauma or identity-based marginalization have made it hard to trust others. She believes healing starts in safe, supportive relationships and is committed to showing up authentically with clients. With warmth, humility, and curiosity, Skye works collaboratively with clients to explore the roots of pain, build self-understanding, and create new pathways forward.

Skye specializes in trauma-informed therapy, with a particular passion for working with individuals navigating the effects of complex trauma, chronic stress, and identity-based challenges. She has extensive training in trauma treatment and experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients, both in private practice and in school-based settings. Skye is also deeply influenced by psychodynamic theory and integrates that lens to help clients explore patterns, relational dynamics, and their sense of self over time. She brings a neurodivergent-affirming and queer-affirming perspective to her work, honoring each client’s unique identity and lived experience.

Skye holds a Master’s degree in International Disaster Psychology from the University of Denver and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in the state of Colorado. Her clinical background includes supporting adolescents and adults through crisis services, school-based therapy, and affirming care for LGBTQIA+ youth. In her current work, she sees clients via telehealth and continues to advocate for inclusive and equitable access to mental health services.

Skye’s lived experience as a trans, queer, neurodivergent, and disabled therapist greatly informs her empathy and clinical insight. She understands firsthand the systemic barriers many clients face and works to foster a space of safety, affirmation, and deep listening. Skye is committed to anti-oppressive practice and uses her positionality mindfully, always striving to create a therapeutic space where clients can bring their full selves to the work.
