Current Practice

Emilie works with helping relationships to be fulfilling,  depression, anxiety, faltering self-esteem, coping skills, life changes, and numerous other issues. She has helped individuals and couples work through these feelings and find the life they want to live. Emilie provides direct but compassionate insight and feedback while assisting her clients in learning to challenge themselves. Various obstacles such as commutes, transportation, schedules, mental and/or physical health, family life/work etc., can sometimes get in the way of making the time for needed self-care. To accommodate such obstacles, Emilie's practice is online/telehealth through a secure, confidential website. She has found this to be a very effective alternative for many individuals and couples. As a relationship-based therapist, Emilie bases her approach on her clients' needs. Utilizing Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused/Brief Therapy, and elements of numerous other therapies, she works with her clients to recognize, understand, and "redo" internalized beliefs that can create feelings of being "stuck" in relational patterns. Emilie works with these beliefs/patterns that have become rigid and cause relationships with self and others to suffer, empowering her clients to become their own best ally throughout all aspects of their lives
