Current Practice

In her experience, Mary has learned that no one is immune to life's difficuilties, robbing some of peace and contentment in daily existence. These years have taught her the importance to work together while providing the tools needed to create a more healthy life... no matter what the environment presents. She believes that although depression and anxiety can sometimes color everyone's life, ultimately, we have dominion over our existence. Reaching out for help is a road sometimes not taken by the faint of heart, but much less challenging with a seasoned and supportive therapist. Mary has learned that people's past has no power over their present. And when bad things happen, or obnoxious memories seem to be invading daily life, there are ways to create peace and harmony in the "now" of life. We all just need to be conscious of them. While providing Cognitie Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Transpersonal Therapies, Mary has worked in private practice, psychological emergency teams, and on family outreach treatment teams. She was a researcher for a combat post-traumatic stress study with the Veterans Administration, peaking her interest in veterans from all wars. Her work is her path and she has found each and every person who has come to her for insight and direction... as unique and interesting.
