Marah finished a Master's in Counseling in 2020 after a 15 year career in fundraising, marketing, and event planning. Marah chose to go back to school to get a Master's in Counseling because of her passion for helping individuals discover who they are from an empathetic and understanding lens. Marah believes that all people can use a mental health checkup. Adopted from Korea as a baby, Marah has a passion for assisting clients who struggle with identity, grief and loss, and multicultural issues. Marah is in a unique position to understand individuals accross cultural lines having been raised by two white parents and reuniting with her birth parents of Black and Korean descent. Marah believes a non-judgemental approach is the foundation to a positive therapeutic alliance between her and her clients. Marah is currently being supervised by Kacy Behrend, LPC (#13833).
