Current Practice

Krista DiVittore, PsyD conducts comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluates the results in order to provide workable suggestions towards improving her clients' lives. She has provdied individual psychotherapy and evalautions in a variety of settings with adolescents and adults for 10 years. In therapy, she pulls from a variety of techniques and therapeutic approaches to address the patient's unique concerns, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based therapy. Using a combination of these approaches helps the patient increase awareness to thought, emotional, and behavioral patterns, as well as further develop the stregnths and coping strategies in their "toolbox" that will provide the patient the opportunity to grow and change in ways that reduce suffering and make their life more meaningful to them. Dr. DiVittore views her patients as the real "experts" with respect o themselves and their personal experiences. She views psychotherapy as a powerful opportunity with the potential to change unhelpful life patterns, move toward emotional healing, restore a feeling of control over life, develop effective coping skills, and improve sense of well-being.

Krista supervises pre-licensed therapists towards their licensure and trained intern therapists.
