Current Practice

Gabriella Potter (they/them) is a doctoral student at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Gabriella’s background involves addressing an array of mental health challenges including grief and loss, depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma, relationship issues, gender-based issues, and coping with systems of oppression. Gabriella has worked extensively with LGBTQ+ people, believing strongly in every person's innate resilience, power, and wholeness. They utilize aspects of many therapeutic modalities to ensure that clients are getting the kinds of support that are most useful for them, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approaches.
