Marina is currently working on obtaining her Masters in Social Work from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. She primarily uses motivational interviewing along with a person-centered approach, incorporating elements of CBT and solution-focused therapy. Although she uses a wide variety of modalities in her therapeutic approach, she centers on client consent and collaboration above all. As a Yoga Teacher, Marina is very passionate about the mind/body connection and plans to pursue a certificate in somatic therapy as well. She is interested in working with individuals that need support with relationships, sexuality and intimacy, life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, and any other challenge that they may be experiencing. Marina would be considered a generalist practitioner in that she works with a variety of different client concerns and is honing in on her specializations through supervised practice.
