Current Practice

"Healing Takes Courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it." —Tori Amos

As a woman of color, D’ondra is on a mission to provide a safe, nurturing environment, so all her clients can express their thoughts and concerns without judgment. She understands how difficult it can be to find quality, representative care from someone who may personally understand what it means to be a person of color. Her specialties include homelessness, survivors of trauma, substance abuse, and mental health–related illnesses. She is empathetic, nonjudgmental, and skilled at active listening, allowing her to create a safe and supportive environment. She lets her clients take the lead in setting their own goals, taking treatment one step at a time, and developing rapport as sessions progress. D’ondra is willing and open to a variety of perspectives and treatment approaches, showing up for each and every client, riding the rollercoaster of life along with them to help with their journey.

D’ondra sees clients both via telehealth and in-person in Aurora, CO, and is currently completing her Masters of Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver under the supervision of Emilia Ealom, LCSW #9923634, LAC #0826.
