Current Practice

Beka McCloughan believes that while relationships have the potential to cause pain, they also possess the power to heal. She is passionate about supporting clients through life's challenges, helping them find healing, safety, and self-advocacy within their communities and relationships. Beka works with individuals, couples, and families to navigate issues such as identity, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, divorce, conflict, and overall well-being. She honors the belief that clients are the experts of their own lives and collaborates with them to create a therapy process that aligns with their unique goals.

With a foundation in Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Beka tailors her approach to meet each client's specific needs, utilizing the most effective theories and interventions. Her experience of growing up and moving around the world has instilled in her the importance of cultural sensitivity and the need to avoid stereotypes, recognizing that each individual is unique. Beka is an active listener who prioritizes her clients' well-being, striving to create a safe space where they feel understood and valued.

In her free time, Beka enjoys experimenting with new recipes, drinking coffee, exploring the mountains, spending time with friends, and driving with the windows down while listening to music.
